God damn bruh, sorry ig. I know I’m 24 (almost 25) and it’s absolutely pathetic to be acting like this, but I never got any of the usual formative experiences. I was sheltered, abused, neglected, and made to be as submissive and distant as possible.
And of course, all this because a single comment calling 14-17 got to me more than it should. YES, YOU’RE RIGHT. I AM A MANCHILD, JESUS.
I started dissociating way earlier than that, unforch. It’s so bad that I genuinely can piece together a coherent timeline of my early life. The gaps are just enormous.
What nobody talks about is how dissociation can erase your past memories, while also making it so you’re not making any in the present. I was fucked from the literal start, then gigafucked by 8.
