I was eating out with my bf and the old dude at the table next to ours called the waitress to bitch about the tuna on his tuna melt not being hot (???). Worst explosion I’ve seen since my job at Starbucks, he slapped his fist on the table and cussed at her. When he reached the peak of his frustration he then said “Sir, I-ma’am I mean-”. I was left wondering if he’s sir’d enough hons that it’s given him magat alzheimers. For reference she was definitely cis, but this was so weird I had to post

Couldn’t agree more. I encountered an unspeakable volume of the stupid boomer phylum at that job who were like this. Worst was a guy and his friend who’d harass whoever was unlucky enough to serve them until the drink was made right. They had a special way they liked it and told us we didn’t know how to do our jobs if we followed training. Myself and most others noped out of serving them after they’d just shout us down the first time we served them not realizing. Another guy would give me creepy names to put instead of his own for the order, my favorite being Ron Jeremy and the least creative being Charlie Kirk ☠️
