I created a protonmail to slowly replace my gmail. However I created it and used it so far without having a VPN on, so my actual IP is exposed in sites. In order to be truly private, do I have to create a new email while a VPN is on? Or do I not have to do that?

    if u wanna be truly private, use tuta, not proton. i don’t think anyone should be able to link your ip to your address in it unless they’re in your browser? so use tor with it. using linux. if youre really a nutcase do this on a raspberry pi you buy from china with a visa giftcard you get with money you launder through crypto, not btc, and only use it in public. (don’t order the pi directly to ur address)

    unless you’re a known criminal, proton alone is fine.
