its not that true tbh. french are mostly good ppl, we shouldnt believe cliches and so
healthcare isnt perfect, still humiliating asf, but far better from usa etc
walking in the street isnt that safe depending on where u live. hungary is atrocious (biggest neonazis protests happens here each year)
trannies still get killed, still cant get a job and die from drug abuse at 30, but since most EU countries dont allow u to have guns its safer than US ofc
so overall EU is better than US and Canada, also better than Japan i think (their opinion on troons is also weird) but not a paradise at all
Ofc I know it’s not perfect. I’m a little bit more knowledgable than the average American, but in comparison to Louisiana it’s a utopia. Also I didn’t mean to insult the French I just personally don’t handle like catty sort of casual mean-ness in conversation too well over long periods of time it gives me brain worms. I probably wouldn’t go east of Germany/Italy unless it was to Finland. Russia and Israel are rabid dogs trying to eat their neighbors, and I’d prefer to not risk being near them. TBH I’ve heard Germany is kinda bad rn, too, so i probably wouldn’t move to a country with a history of fascism like Italy, Germany, Greece, etc. Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and Finland are all countries I’ve heard good things about on trans reddits. Because if I have enough freedom to move to the EU I’d probably have enough to pick the country I settle in. I’d want to pick a good one in case the EU nazis do dismantle the Schengen area like they’re trying to every day.
My roommate told me about Francoism today. I either have to reevaluate that value I hold or not consider Spain. Probably change the value. Spain from what I’ve seen is p good these days
