suburb of either Portland/Seattle. I don’t like being deep in a city, but I like being near cities and enjoy the weather of the PNW.

Do you live in that area already? It’s so nice up that way, I miss Portland a lot sometimes. Most underrated food scene in the country imho, it’s way better there if you’re vegan/vegetarian than pretty much anywhere else. The landscape up there is just awe-inspiring too. Portland’s suburbs are weird though lol, Milwaukie was the only one that didn’t give me bad vibes.

yeah I lived in Portland for nearly a decade and I miss it. the nature is a huge part of the draw imo. for me, only Gresham gives me bad vibes, the other ones can be a little weird though that’s true.

Lol yeah Gresham is like a combo of “sleazy small business tyrant” and “meth head” bad vibes lol. Vancouver is kinda cool, but the open white supremacy is very off-putting. Lake Oswego is full of rich pricks. Beaverton was mostly nice and normal. I actually really liked some of the smaller towns up the river like Scappoose and St Helens. It would be really cool to have a house in one of those floating home communities they have there.

haha well said. yeah I think Beaverton or Milwaukee would probably be best. I never spent much time up the river, outside a few trips to sauvies island. honestly anything west of Cascades that isn’t super tiny town could be cool, since the weather would be similar enough
