When I was little I used to bring my 3DS everywhere in the hopes of getting a hit, unfortunately nobody used it in my tiny city, sigh. Lately I have been doing the same, knowing it is even less likely, but Idk it’s exciting to think about the chance of that green light flashing when I return home from getting groceries or smt
That’s so cute! I never had a 3ds to do this but I used to use the chatroom feature on my DSXL to talk to my siblings.

OMG there is a homebrew app that lets you street pass with people online, you just leave your DS open and pick a location in the made up city to hang out at and other people doing the same thing will tag with you. Not as cool as IRL but still neat.

It’s called Netpass! Also if you use Pretendo my friend code is 4479-9536-8602. If you don’t use it, it’s just custom servers for most 3ds games.

I wish the people in my Uni where as based as the one in yours -w-, but oooh you make custom themes? So cool :>… if they’re up for sharing may I see them? (I only use one theme currently and that dinky song is driving me insane ^^")

yeah i always really loved it. when i was young i’d have my mom carry it in her purse whenever we went out. actually got quite a few from that + school, though !
sfsfdfsssfsf that was smart wow -w-, if only I thought about this sooner, the only hack I thought about was putting my 3DS on top of the washing machine to try to farm play coins (wouldn’t reccomend, it didn’t even give even one after half an hour :p)

I used to get streetpasses all the time. i think the last time I got one was around 2017 or 2018, and you had to get really lucky. The 3DS is a great console, lots of fun and great for hacking on. Hardmodding one of those was my very first solder job.

Uuh it was basically a thing that activated when two 3DS where nearby and closed, it gave you cool in game stuff and shared stuff from the other person, like their character, what they liked and uuh lots of other stuff depending on the games you two had in common :p
