i fucking hate living in suburban US. its actually hell. picrel isnt where i live but it might as well be. every US “town” like this looks the same. i cant go anywhere without a car. literally. when i try to ask google maps for directions to the closest bus stop it tells me to call an uber to get there. like wtf?
the closest store to me is only like maybe a 10-15 minute walk, but there is no way to actually walk there because of A STUPID HIGHWAY THAT CUTS THROUGH EVERYTHING AND 0 SIDE WALKS BEING AVAILABLE
half the reason i dont go outside as much as i would like to is because of this shit. i dont want to have to drive somewhere just to grab a monster or something from a convenience store. if i could go for walks i would, but there is no where to walk. please just drop a nuke on me. it would be an improvement to the infrastructure.

the way america is laid out is so insane to me. like i can’t imagine having to drive just to go to like a convenience store. every image i see of there is bizarre to me.
its as bad as it looks. obviously some cities like NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, etc. arent like this but so many places are. the thing i miss most about my time outside of the US a year ago is legitimately just being able to walk places
