My entire friendship history: I made my first friend in kindergarten, who introduced me to my second friend in 3rd grade, who introduced me to my third friend in 9th grade, who introduced me to my fourth friend in 10th grade.

They all approached me. They started the conversation. I never approached them. And then I stopped talking to them, or they moved away. Now I’m 26 and I don’t know how to approach people to make friendships. I am 26 years old. I should know how to do this.

But I don’t.

So many opportunities I missed. Every time I see people say they have friends with the same interests I want to die. Where did I go wrong.
