yeah i got diagnosed with adhd at like 13 or 14 and then autism at maybe 17? ive tried every kind of stimulant and they only sort of help. i should really try doing something like that and take some time off but im really really scared to be alone with my thoughts
going to school or getting a job seems impossible when i cant even concentrate on a video game or doing my laundry or something
Yeah exactly, I can’t even play video games for longer than like an hour before I need a hour long break :/
and i need to have some video playing in the background to concentrate, but also i will get distracted by that video
Oh I feel you, but a few years ago it stopped for me, it was too overstimulating but I 100% did that
ugguhh you’re so real for this. I tried staying off of the internet for a week and like even still I couldn’t focus for long periods.
a week is impressive. i dont remember the last time i went even an entire hour
it was boring. it wasn’t completely offline, I just didn’t go on youtube/social media.
