    it doesn’t. it’s hard to do and it’s uncomfortable and you’re liable to get whatever you’re holding gummed up in there. like an unsatisfying punch.

        the slashing is better than the stabbing, since you don’t have to make any micro adjustments to make sure you aren’t hitting the same spot. you also get a better range of motion. if there is an appeal to stabbing the same spot, it’s out of a love for a very certain tactile stimulation. I kind of envy that. It’s like the dull burn of hammering in nails all day.
