<spoiler title>

It’s technically called the time machine from back to the future but I’m not calling it that, yes I know it’s sideways shut up

It is almost entirely printed pieces, the build experience is great, all the little details and cool techniques come together to create what I think is the best delorean LEGO has ever made.

The price is quite fair 22£ for 357 pieces, the look and end result feels very premium, exactly what I expect from LEGO.

Unfortunately sets like these (well priced, mostly printed gorgeous and fun sets) are increasingly becoming the exception rather than the norm, whether that’s overpriced downsized fragile sets, extremely expensive usc style 18+ sets that have so many pinched pennies and cheap moronic decisions in a set that is the most expensive set ever there are many instances where LEGO completely falls short of their “only the best is good enough” claim.

Luckily this is not one of those situations, this is absolutely the best it could have been and this is the first lego set in a while I haven’t questioned myself “maybe I shouldn’t have bought this” I’ve only felt contentment with my purchase, 9.5 only improvement would be if it had doors that opened up, but I understand why they didn’t do that as it might have compromised stability.
