Separating sex and gender has ruined access for people who need srs Transsexual was coined by hirschfeld who for all he has done for us was a homosexual and was for himself and definitely took inspiration from the term transvestite which he also coined which as much as people want to say oh it’s totally related to dysmorphia in some tiny ways it just isn’t. Transvestite is dress up. Dysmorphia is serious.
I also hate the term dysphoria. Yes we want to change in relation to our sex but it shouldnt be differentiated. it would cause similar distress as it would to someone who didn’t like their face for dimorphic or non dimorphic related reasons
Of course theres limits like someone who will never be skinny enough or tan enough or muscular enough that should not be medicine
Those who want reasonable things to treat their dysmorphia should not be compared to those who are will starve themselves to death or inject straight oil in their arms or do borderline blackface
That is destructive dysmorphia. Unfortunately wanting to change your sex can in no way be reduced to the former and is instead entirely non destructive.

Also for all the support groups youd think Thered be patient centered support groups rather than self acceptance stuff. People should figure that out themselves theres more pressing matters Youre either in or Youre out theres no time for denial
The term cis needs to be revised too. It originates from sex alignment with the person so a fully transitioned person would have been considered cis but now it’s evolved to mean keeping your original asab which is just creating an us versus them narrative while misidentifying ourselves. I propose non dysmorphic (NDM) and dysmorphic (DM)
And the agamps/aagmps and gnc or Nb people whether they like it or not are still dysmorphic in some minor regards theyre a part of us
As well as any one who hates their features and should have full access to surgery without being boxed into cosmetic rather than necessary
