Seriously where are they?

    It’s still a place where people yearn for death on a daily basis and glorify the sweet release it would bring. Nobody encourages suicide in others, but people want to do it, announce it, attempt it, and complete it. I’m certain that the result is a climate that lowers inhibitions regarding suicide and to a degree normalises it.

        Yes, they encourage others to keep going, but simply seeing the the self-loathing and talk about killing themselves cancels out the positives in my opinion.

        It’s been many years since the last time I cut and I had a particularly bad day last week. This week I’ve felt the itch to cut again. I’m quite sure that others writing about cutting brought back this way of coping with anguish to my mind when I had basically forgotten this unhealthy way of escaping my problems.

            I agree with all of that, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. I think coming here has destabilised me to a degree, but that is mostly because it made me confront myself and my issues more. As long as I don’t off myself, which I don’t see myself doing, it will have genuinely improved my life by a lot.
