    it does quite a bit! the perspective and shading are a little more wonky than one would expect, but you captured the depth really well via perspective and overlaps :)

    half-ass recreation of picrel in blender. just a bunch of weirdly arranged pipes

    The painterly thing is also somewhat popular right now. I didn’t add it here because in this software a lot of it is done via post-processing but that would get you closer still to your drawing; you can look into “non-photorealistic rendering” for examples.

        sadly I didn’t model those pipes; those are just your reference image :( generally information is lost with such a projected unless we know the size of things so this may also deviate from what you envisioned

            I loaded your drawing as the background image of the camera, roughly matched the FOV, then just started placing cylinders where they looked like they belong + a touch of poly modeling.

      Drawing the sketch took me like 4 hours cuz I actually needed to draw every line perfectly to fit and be accurate in terms of perspectives😭
