minus-squareCutePlushieslinkfedilinkarrow-up2·17 days agoabstract algebra goes kinda hard. anything with algebra in the title is S tier tbhon even if it is largely proof based. my dad took some out there ones back in the day to get his math phd. don’t exactly remember names but they sounded ludicrous haha
minus-squareMath_troonOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·17 days agoabstract algera definetly mogs linear algebra for sure (tho everyone says it’s the less useful of the two but what do they know?) also being proof based is the point of a math degree methinks Haven’t had any courses with bizarre names yet I’m only a 2nd year student but I’ll report back next year
