I keep reading that changing IP / using a VPN won’t be enough and Reddit will manage to link the new account to your old one anyway.
is it even worth it?
Probably not. But I used Reddit on my main account for non-tttt stuff: videogame communities or asking questions on mainstream subs, and losing that sucks
i see
It depends do they do hwid footprinting or mac address? In theory if you had a device you never logged into ur reddit on they would never know if you connected to a vpn.
so far vpn + new email + technically other device or using web version worked for me. Before i sharted using tttt tho i had it be idle for like a week, lurked mainstream subs and used public wifis so that plebbit could see at least one non-vpn network in their history
Was already using the web version on both my laptop & phone :/
Not really planning to buy a new device anytime soon but it’s good to know in any case
you can use virtual android machine on a phone or pc! i used cracked VMOS on android and worked fine
Good idea, ty
Using Tor + proton mail should be enough but meh
+ u would need to be careful to not get banned w this set up but I managed to pull it of was not worth tbh
Even if it’s on the same laptop ?
Yeah, but again I need to let it sit for some time before doing anything, and even if it’s blocked u can try again w some tweaks u lose literally nothing
Will try that, thanks
