You should care about politics because it affects you, but not to the point where it causes serious mental distress that leads to nothing productive.
I was stuck in that paralyzing news cycle for a while. Now I just unplug from that shit and always assume the absolute worst case scenario for everything always and it ends up being just as effective as staying informed. Mfers can be like “have you heard about the bombings in the Strait of Hormuz?” and it’s like “no, but I coulda guessed so much woulda happened”. Ez.
