on the one hand, men do report higher rates of hearing loss (28% vs 21%) compared to women, but on the other hand women are more likely to use them daily and for longer periods of time compared to men. of course, the main factor here is occupational, working jobs like construction etc, there are some biological factors but it’s not much, both T and E protect against hearing loss and lower amounts of both puts someone at risk.

      what about just like. bad luck. my hearing loss isn’t from my job or anything it’s cuz my dad went deaf
