It flew off before I could get a picture of it but it was pretty big and had some colorful red spots on its wings which was nice I guess

I got curious and ended up googling it. Apparently what it saw is called a six spotted burnet because it looked identical to the pictures. Weird because I’m from canada and apparently they’re from Europe? Best guess is it’s some imported hobbies pet because i don’t know how else it got here. That or I misidentified it which is also possible because I don’t know shit about bugs
