Bought a ladder today, and the clerk at Harbor Freight said “What can I do for you mam?” then said “Oh, uh, I mean sir.” when he got closer.

      I just didn’t acknowledge it. If I’m a troon, woman, or fat man it matters little at checkout, and his ignorance/ indecisiveness is preferable to knowledge and therefore bigotry.
